Argyle Fox by Marie Letourneau

Argyle FoxArgyle Fox by Marie Letourneau

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Argyle Fox wants to go outside and play, there is just one problem… it is really windy! Everyone tells him it is not a good idea but Argyle Fox insists. He tries various games outside in the wind. Unable to successfully play most of his favorites, Argyle Fox becomes upset and wants to give up and stay in his room the entire day. His mother encourages him to keep thinking and finally he comes up with the perfect windy day game.

This book is sweet and shows that creativity and persistence pay off in the end. The illustrations are fantastic. They are beautiful, detailed and easily depict the action in the story. This book would be a great read for a story/craft time.

Note: I was given this book to read and review by the publisher. In no way did that affect my opinions. (Tanglewood Publishing/ March 14, 2017)
